Crème Brûlée

Cook in : 40 minutes



  1. Beat the egg yolks with 100 mL of the maple syrup
  2. Add the cream and blend gently with a whisk
  3. Pour into ramekins
  4. Bake in a water bath at 150°C (300°F) for approximately 40 minutes
  5. Refrigerate 12 hours
  6. On each portion sprinkle 5 mL (1 tsp) of maple sugar and drizzle 5 mL of maple syrup
  7. Using the broiler caramelize the maple sugar and syrup until golden
  8. Serve cold

Note: For best results prepare the day before and refrigerate for 12 hours
