Dressing for tomato and bocconcini cheese salad

Ingredients:

  • Olive oil: 250ml
  • Balsamic vinegar: 125ml
  • Maple syrup: 60ml
  • Fresh sweet basil leaves: to taste
  • Salt and pepper: to taste
  • Ripe fresh tomatoes: 6 to 8
  • Bocconcini cheese: 400g

Preparation:

  • Mix the olive oil, balsamic vinegar and maple syrup
  • Add a few chopped sweet basil leaves
  • Salt and pepper
  • Set aside
  • Alternate placing the sliced tomatoes and the bocconcini cheese slices on a plate
  • Pour the vinaigrette over the tomatoes and cheese
  • Decorate with fresh sweet basil
  • Serve
