Golden Maple Leaf Award 2012

In November 2012, Citadelle Maple Syrup Producers' Cooperative is proud to have been honoured with the 2012 Golden Maple Leaf Award for the SmartSak, its recently launched soft packaging for maple syrup.The prize, one of the most sought-after in the maple industry, is awarded by the International Maple Syrup Institute (IMSI) for exceptional product innovation and outstanding initiative in market development.

Award - Trends & Innovations SIAL 2012

In May 2012, Citadelle's Maple Pearls have won the prestigious Grand Prize in the Trends & Innovations category at the 2012 Canadian Agri-food Export Gala.

Golden Maple Leaf Award 2011

During the last IMSI (International Maple Syrup Institute) meeting, held in October 2011, jointly with the NAMSC (North American Maple Syrup Council), Citadelle was recognized for outstanding innovation with a Golden Maple Leaf Award for its Samara di Acéro line of maple-based personal care products.

Canadian Export Business Award 2011

In May 2011, as part of the Salon international de l'alimentation for the North American market, Agri-Food Export Group Quebec-Canada honoured CITADELLE with the Canadian Export Business Award 2011.

Panthéon de la Performance

On May 14, 2010, CITADELLE received the Panthéon de la Performance 2010 award in the “Large Corporation” category from the Chamber of Commerce of the Bois-Francs/Erable region.

Historical significance

April 30, 2010, the Historic Sites and Monuments Board of Canada unveiled a plaque commemorating the historic importance of maple products in Canada. This plaque will be installed in the Cooperative’s head office.

Canada Brand Business Award 2010

In April 2010, as part of the Salon international de l’alimentation for the North American market, Agri-Food Export Group Quebec-Canada honoured CITADELLE with the Canada Brand Business Award for 2010.

Golden Maple Leaf Award

Its bistro-boutique concept, maple museums, and our third processing plant earned CITADELLE the Golden Maple Leaf Award in the "Maple Syrup Promotion and Marketing" category at the 2009 North American Maple Syrup Council (NAMSC) and International Maple Syrup Institute's (IMSI) annual meeting.

Grands Prix du Tourisme Québecois

In March 2009 Quebec City Tourism presented the Quebec City bistro with the 2009 Grand Prix du Tourisme Québécois for the Quebec City area in the "Tourist Services, Hydro Québec" category.

Maple Products and their Place in Canadian History

In 2008, the Historic Sites and Monuments Board of Canada recognized the historic significance of maple products and selected the CITADELLE Plessisville processing plant as one of three commemorative sites.

Gold Medal

At the 2007 annual conference of the International Maple Syrup Institute, CITADELLE’S Thick’n’Rich product line received the Gold Medal in the category “New Products Developed for the North American Market.”

Prix Ulysse from Tourisme Montréal

In 2006, CANADIAN MAPLE DELIGHTS captured this prize in the “Tourist Services, Montreal Region” category.

Medal of Excellence

CITADELLE’S internationally distributed pure maple syrup earned Medals of Excellence at International Maple Syrup Institute annual conference from 1998 to 2003.

Mérite coopératif award

In the “producers' cooperative” category, presented at the 1998 Mérite Coopératif gala of the Centre-du-Québec and Mauricie regions.

Panthéon de la Performance

CITADELLE received the Panthéon de la Performance award in the export category in 1997 from the Bois-Francs regional Chamber of Commerce.

Export-Action

A special prize awarded in 1990 by Ministère des Affaires internationales, the Chamber of Commerce of the Bois-Francs regional and the Economic Development Corporation to CITADELLE for its efforts in developing export markets.
