16 Jan 2012 - 2012, International Year of Co-operatives

The United Nations General Assembly has declared 2012 the International Year of Co-operatives, with the theme: Co-operative Enterprises Build a Better World.

The Canadian launch took place in 14 cities on January 12. Co-operatives across Canada and around the world this year will be taking the opportunity to increase promotion of the co-operative movement and celebrate its successes.
