Maple sauce for pizza
Ingredients:
- Tomato paste: 490g
- Crushed tomatoes: 490g
- Pepper: 10ml
- Crushed garlic: 5ml
- Oregano: 2ml
- Maple syrup: 150ml
- Salt: 10ml
- Herbes de Provence: 2ml
- Basil leaves: 2 leaves
Choice of vegetables: bell peppers, mushrooms, asparagus, onions, tomatoes
Preparation:
- Blend all ingredients together with a whisk
- Spread the sauce on a thin dough
- Place the vegetables of your choice over the sauce
- Grate some cheese over the vegetables
- Cook for approximately 10 minutes in a 350°F (180°C) oven
Note: You may freeze the remainig mixture
